Allergen is a substance that causes allergies and refers to an antigen that can cause allergic diseases and is also used for allergy diagnosis and treatment. Although it is harmless to most people, when these allergens enter the body and cause the immune system to overreact, causing hives, itching, runny nose, cough, etc., it is called an allergy.

Genetic factors are the biggest factor in causing allergic diseases, but they are also caused by a combination of other factors such as environmental factors and eating habits. Representative allergic diseases include bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis.

Allergens that cause these allergic diseases are known to include dust mites, pollen, pets, bacteria, and fungi.
